STCC Gothenburg cityrace in June 2008 in full scale.....

On the 14th of June we were about ten racing interested friends that visited the STCC race in the center of the Gothenburg City. It was a sunny and warm summerday with perfect conditions for a great final race day.
Firs out was the tests and warm ups in front of the race and we also got to see lots of the pitlane areas.
One of my favourite races is the Porsche Carrera Cup and sadly the final was a long time under yellow flag so it didn´t get to be too much racing.
Then there was also the JTCC and Camaro Cup but most of all we got to see the final of the STCC race that really was a party. Results can be found in the links to right.

FROG Invitational race with TRS June 2008 in small scale....

After the racing at the track we went to our slotcar club facilities just ten minutes outside the city center.
This evening we arranged loads of racing heats such as Ninco SuperGT cars and also we race in team racing with slot.it cars....

Lot´s of good scottish whisky, some beersaucers and of course good beer made a nice foundation for fun...and fun we had....we started to race at around 19:00 and the last soul´s didn´t leave until the sun had rised and the time was almost 4:00 am.......

Winners of the Super GT was Borgis, one of FROG club members whom always have great speed on his slotcars....
Congratulations to Borgis!

Would also like to thanks TRS boys for coming down from Stockholm for to spend a weekend full of racing and fun....
Also a big thank you to Forsbacka Raceway that supported the racing with three of their members.....
